10 Romantic Vacation Ideas for Foodies

1. Wine Tasting Tour

Wine tasting tours are a very popular romantic vacation idea and you don’t have to travel far out of the city to experience Vancouver Island’s wine country. The Saanich Peninsula is home to Muse Winery, Church & State Wines, De Vine Vineyards, Dragonfly Hill Vineyard, Starling Lane Winery as well as Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse and Victoria Spirits. Plan your own excursion or sit back and enjoy a luxurious tour with a knowledgeable guide

2. Chocolate Tour

Flowers and chocolate are classic romantic fare so after a day at Butchart Gardens, why not undertake a chocolate tour. We have yet to find an actual chocolate tour here in the city, but we invite you to build your own. How many chocolatiers can you find in downtown Victoria?  Find your favourite at Purdy’s, Rogers, Chocolat Chocolatiere De Victoria, Pure Lovin' Chocolate, Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Chocolats Favoris and Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut. Who says you can’t try them all?

3. Tesla Tours

One of the most unique tours you will experience – discover some of the best local restaurants, cideries, distilleries, wineries and attractions with your custom private tour in a solar powered Tesla. They’ll pick you up at your hotel or port of entry as part of your tour.  Visit their site to book your tour today
