I have been fortunate to go out three times – once we were so lucky to have so many whale sightings and an abundance of other marine life; the second time, we were on the water for about 4 hours without a single sighting. It was late winter and not exactly the best time to go. We took advantage of their whale sighting guarantee and went back a couple years later with great success! A popular spot in Victoria is the Esquimalt Lagoon where you can have fun searching for painted rocks (start a date night hobby painting rocks), enjoy the artistic Bark Birds creations or simply find a log to sit and listen to the ocean.
